Your participation in the ACS 2025 Riviera Gala supports efforts to expand cancer prevention and early detection by fueling local programs, strategic partnerships, and innovative solutions that reduce cancer disparities and bring life-saving resources to our Central Coast communities.
While we serve all communities and industries, we are taking steps to address the unique needs of sectors like agriculture and construction, as well as the needs of rural communities where cancer care gaps have been most pronounced.
These represent some of our largest workforces, and by addressing barriers such as limited access to screenings, transportation challenges, and health literacy, we’re ensuring that cancer care is within reach for all. At the same time, we’re proud to fund cancer research at UCSB, advancing groundbreaking work that will directly impact our local communities and help shape a healthier, cancer-free future for the entire region.
Be Part of the Mission
I am inspired every day by the resilience of our Central Coast community. Yet too many of our neighbors still face barriers to lifesaving cancer screening, education, and support—especially in rural areas and industries with limited healthcare access.
That’s why the American Cancer Society (ACS) is here to bridge those gaps. Together, through equitable partnerships, patient-centered programs, and bold advocacy, we are bringing cancer care within reach for every person, no matter where they live or work.
This event is more than a gathering; it’s a movement. And with your support, we can ensure that hope, prevention, and treatment are never out of reach.
For more than 10 decades, the American Cancer Society has been dedicated to pursuing better outcomes for every cancer, every life. Today, more people are surviving cancer than ever before, but there is still work to be done. Join us, support us, and help us end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
