Karina Kulangara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and a Master’s degree in Immunology and Pathology from Geneva University, Switzerland. She earned her Ph.D. at the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland, and conducted research in medical devices at Duke University, Durham, NC, before joining Agilent over five years ago. At Agilent, she has collaborated with pharmaceutical partners to develop companion diagnostic assays and participated in the Blueprint I project, which compared several PD-L1 assays in the pre-market setting. Karina is also serving as the 2024 Corporate Event Chair for the American Cancer Society’s Riviera Gala.
